The Marcus Wallenberg Prize is an international prize, based in Sweden, which is awarded once a year for a scientific breakthrough of great importance to forestry and the forest industry. In 2012, the Prize was awarded to the Finn Mika Viljanmaa, who had developed a method for improving the surface of printing paper.
